October 2009 Newsletter Announces HUGE! Holiday Sale
Late fall was always an exciting time in New England as we anticipated
the upcoming holidays. At my former furniture store in NH, things always picked up around mid-Oct as my clients started thinking
about sprucing up their homes for upcoming parties and family gatherings.
Although we don’t have snow to
look forward to here in Costa Rica, we will be celebrating with a Huge Holiday Sale, with prices of up to 40% off furniture
and garden décor out of our warehouse. Need a full-size mango wood dining table? There are 3 styles and 2 stains to choose from. This beautifully handcrafted dining table will stand up to years
of Holiday entertaining and family dinners. For the living
room, we offer 3 styles of coffee tables, normally offered at $299, now on sale for only $189. Also on sale: an assortment
of occasional tables and nightstands, starting at $75.
All of our imported furniture is meticulously handcrafted
from kiln dried, eco-friendly mango wood; this hardwood lumber is plantation grown and kiln dried to avoid cracking.
Much of our time at home is spent outdoors year round, here in Costa Rica: on the terrace, patio or in the garden. Adding
something new and decorative is always fun. All stone garden lanterns, statues and large terracotta pots are on sale as well.
Small lanterns regularly $40 are now just $28. You have four styles to choose from.
Subtly lighting up a pathway or around the pool, these little lanterns bring a touch of romance and elegance. For something more dramatic, our Balinese goddess statue comes with an internal water tube for use in a pond or fountain. She is normally $325 – now $199. Only 2 left in stock.
In addition, Laurel Anderson of Laurel’s Originals,
will also be on hand with a wonderful selection of her hand-painted floor cloths (canvas rugs) as well as unique canvas totes and bags – wearable art that makes a unique gift.
*Our warehouse is across from the bodegas of the Cerveceria in
Alajuela, on the road between the airport Denny’s and Heredia. It is in the building of Global Spice; look for
yellow and green banners on the fence during the days of the sale. The building is closed to the public, but if you
are unable to make it during the sale, I am happy to meet you there at a time/day more convenient for you.
You
won't want to miss this sale event. We look forward to seeing you then: Oct. 31st and Nov. 1st!
